Chassis length

Would anyone have the length of a bare chassis please, I need to hire a van to take mine to be painted and I am not at home at the moment and wont be until the weekend

Total length just under 4m

Wheel base is about 2.3m

I'd guess at around 3m but realise you may want something a bit more accurate depending on size of van you're looking at .

I don't have the chassis dimensions, but can't you just leave the van's back doors open if the chassis is a bit too long? ( Secured, obviously )
I would have thought the width would be more critical. Then again, I suppose the chassis would fit in on it's side......

Yes I could but its a long journey 150mls on A roads so if possible would like the doors closed

it fits onto an Audi A4 roof rack......from Malvern to Teesside!!

not that heavy - two old men lifted it on. One old man and an engine hoist lited it off.

Measured mine @ 9'6" x 4'9" a while back for the same purpose.
