Porsche 964 rs Cup 1 replica Wheels
Discussion
There is a firm in Blackpool who first retailed them in about 1993 and there is a company that I have a link to somewhere you hold some sort of approved status for replicas from Porsche.
This is a little vague but hopefully someone else will come along with links closer to hand or a sharper memory.

PWS in Blackpool were one of the big Porsche wheel sellers originally, before many others popped up.
They do replicas of most Porsche wheels and used to be really clued up on oem widths, offsets etc.
There's one or two Italian companies do decent cup1 reps too. Mille Miglia was one of them iirc.
Just be aware that some reps are so easy to spot it's unreal. Basic things like the profile of the spokes etc. I'd try and find a good used set of genuine ones. Should find a nice set for £1500.
Eta- they won't be RS magnesium rims for £1500 mind. You'll need three or four times that for a set of those. They are like cheese anyway. Even most owners wrap them up and store them.
Actually, I can't believe I forgot. Your first call should be to Brian at Jasmine Porschalink. He often has various sizes in stock.

Nine years ago I could have bought a genuine set of mag 64rs wheels for £800 in excellent condition. I declined to buy them.
What an absolute mug.
This could end up like the scene in Jaws where everyone shows their scars. After 20+yrs involved with the cars I have sold so many thinks that are worth strong money now, from Turbo Fuchs to 2.4l F-Series 911s...What an absolute mug.

AFAIK the replicas only come with 47 and 52 offsets. These are perfectly fine to run on a 964/RS. To get the 55 offsets you need to buy genuine Porsche cup 1 alloy wheels. The genuine Porsche cup 1 alloy in 7.5J x 17 is quite rare and used ones are likely to be very expensive. You're more likely to find a genuine set comprising of 7j x 17 and 9J x 17 (both et 55).Does anyone know any companies that sell replica Porsche cup 1 wheels 7.5j x 17 and 9J x 17 with the correct 55 offset?
