What do do with low value foreign currency checks ?

I'm receiving quarterly edividend payments by cheque as a consequence of being a member of my employer's share scheme.
The value of the cheques are very small - less than 10 USD. I don't have a USD bank account - and my UK bank accoutn will charge me more than the value of the cheque to process it.
I'm loath to just put the money in the bin - is there anything I can do to get my hands on this money ?
