Quick wheel tyre opinion sought
Discussion
Been on the hunt for a set of compomotive MLs for ages, finally won a set on ebay.
Trial fitment tonight below, before and after. Just fitted to offside at mo.
Steelies; 15x5.5 ET40 185/60/15
Compos 15x6 ET19 195/45/15
Currently got a 10mm spacer on rear and 5mm spacer on front (to clear hubs, as centre bores on both sets a little too small)
I'm thinking I need to fit the steel wheels tyres on them, what's the general consensus ?
Maybe need to go for a 3 or 5mm spacer on front and rear, rather than current combo.

It looks better, but not as good as the steels... original is king IMO.
They're not original I don't think. Jamie will confirm but they're modern steelies probably off a Saab or Peugeot (or something).Originals would have been 14" with some pan lid hub caps.
GTA replicas are still my preferred wheel style, but I appreciate they've been done to death!
Looks better with the higher profile tyres, I had a set of Minilites on my Giulia Super many years ago, they do have a period rally look to them although I always felt guilty fitting British wheels to an Italian car. A pal of mine in Italy with a red GT Junior has painted his steels pale blue, surprisingly looks good.
