Early morning run to Pride and Joy Beaulieu 5th May
Discussion
Hi fellow PH's. Club Gran Tourismo is organising an early morning run to the Pride & Joy show, Beaulieu, Monday 5th May if anyone would like to join us. As you may well be aware, this event is looking to be a fantastic day and early signs show the weather to be dry, at least. There is also a separate post with all the information about Pride & Joy running on this forum if you haven't had the chance to catch up.
The run will take in some great roads including a sound test through the Hinehead tunnel and wind through West Sussex before picking up the M3 and M27 for the final stint down to Beaulieu. Covering 90 miles and taking just over 2 hrs, this will get everyone in the mood for a great day of fantastic cars, Dream Rides and an amazing automotive museum. We welcome all types of cars for the run and aim to meet at 6.30am ready to depart at 6.45am sharp including a route and drivers briefing. The route chosen is easy to follow and all effort will be made to keep the convoy together.
Although the gates officially open at 10am, those participating in the show will be there by 9am whilst others can pick up a breakfast before hand (or carry on driving for an hour!)
Meeting point and time:
Arrive: 6.30am
Meeting point: Tesco superstore car park next to their filling station, The Meadows, Marshall Rd, College Town, Sandhurst GU47 0FD - their filling station sell 99 octane if required.
Depart time:6.45am sharp
Full route details will be emailed to all participants on Sunday 4th May. Any question please PM me.
Thanks
Steve
