can anyone help? Has anybody adjusted handbrake Tuscan 2001. Told at mot not pulling up as well on drivers side. Have got car on jacks at the moment, wheels off, to renew shocks. Traced two cables which go to each wheel. There is a bracket where cable goes to on each side where there seems to be a white nylon bush. Has anybody experienced this any comments much appreciated.

IIRC...and I changed my cable 2-3 months ago, the h,brake lever links to a yoke or saddle, which should give equal "pull" to the innerspring going to each of the rear wheels.
Any adjustment is by the white nylon knurled adjuster on the outer cable which you can see above the prop shaft on a bracket fixed to the chassis.

Therefore, unequal pull might infer the mechanical linkage on each of the calipers needs lubrication or freeing up.

I'm currently doing a complete refurb so here are a couple of pics of the adjusting screws, there are two, one that adjusts and the other to lock it.

Nick, where did you get your handbrake cable from as mine is pretty worn and causing a lot of friction within the cable, I suspect this is why my handbrake was pretty poor.

Rich, got mine from race tech direct, IIRC.

Key is making sure the levers on the back of the rear calipers are free and go fully back to their stops when the handbrake is released.
