GT3 - What wheel colour to go for...

Hi folks,

Recently bought a speed yellow GT3 and the wheels have a few marks and I'm not keen on the finish anyway.

So, current look -

I'm thinking either anthracite (can't find an example) or solid black, like this -



Thoughts?

Exel wheels did these for me. It's a Porsche colour as used on 997.1 turbo wheels.

Like the look of that, hard to tell from pics, is it Grey?

Not sure if the black just makes the wheels disappear a little hence Anthracite Grey being one of my ideas.

I had Exel do my 996T wheels in GT silver (as on turbo S), which is a few shades darker than standard, and looks very good.

Ye silver surrounds, black centres.

If they weren't scuffed i wouldn't be desperate to change but with planning to get them re-done anyway i wouldn't choose the current finish.

Would like to keep the white GT3 writing on the centre caps regardless though (not really obvious in picture) and have even toyed with doing the writing in yellow but not sure if that would potentially be naff.....

As for the wheels, I don't know. Silver wouldn't look right really but I'm not a fan of black. I'd be stumped!
Best colour for the GT3 though.

I have two sets of wheels for mine. One set is in gloss black with the GT3 in the centre caps picked out in Speed Yellow, it looks really good and not naff in my mind. I also fitted the Porsche 3mm spacer shims which make the wheels fill the arches better.

Silver shows off those gorgeous wheels in my view. Black hides them and looks chavvy. Sorry!
