Your in the same situation as me Mike, what I need is two things larger than I have. A larger garage and a larger pay packet!
IMO you ought to keep the Massarati, it's a lot less Max Power than a Skyline, although it looks like a Rover!!!

I thought I was very clever when I chose the Toyota Supra (UK edition) and had it upgraded. It could see off everything up to twice the price, and was technically impossible to fault. And yet...
I definitely don't go in for automotive snobbery. For example, the Porsche 928. Thumbs down from the press, general perception the ultimate hairdresser's boat. Had three of them, and never regretted it.
Same with the Fiat 130 Coupe. Cold shoulder from the press. Public reaction "it's just a Fiat". But it was bought on merit, and enjoyed on merit.
Same with lots of Fords - scorn all round, but each one of them did a good job and I had a lot of fun driving them.
So what put me off the Supra? I honestly don't know. Perhaps it was too perfect - build quality, performance, handling, everything was excellent. Maybe the shape was wrong with its enormous wing, but no, there was something more than that.
If the craving for performance is irresistable, go for it, but don't be surprised if you find yourself looking for a slower imperfect European fairly soon! There's something about the mystery of heritage in this, and a Maserati has it all...
