Hi all
I am looking to by a 911 with a view to have it retro fitted to look like a 911E targa (pre 1979)
My budget is £17k for the car
Which age and models would be suitable and what would the refit cost

Pre '79 doesn't mean a great deal to me. By 1979 Porsche was making the SC which didn't use the E designation.

Do you mean pre 1969, with a soft rear window?
