ive just seen it on GT on 4 after ive heard many written reports on it and it was shocking, it was one of the most awful crashes ive seen for quite some time, its lucky the porsche is LHD cause if it was RHD he'd be dead now, the front of the saleen is totally destroyed, hope nothing like that happens again

From where we were (pit wall) it was pretty bad. The moment the Porsche spun we all thought "stay still, don't move" but he tried to get out of the way...

Very lucky man. I don't think Lister even had chance to lift at what is a 100mph apex - even in a GTO car.

Apparently they aim to get the GT2 back out very soon, which is good because it sounds fantastic. It also has a restrictor break that makes it stupidly fast through most speed traps. I think they just push the loud pedal and hold tight. Splendid.

watching it again on channel4, you can see littlejohn look left to see if there are any cars comming and he just pulls into the lister, such a shame, i hate watching it, littlejohn is a great driver, get well soon, james
