Just been informed the front callipers on my 964 are knackered and need a rebuild. Can any one recommend anyone decent to do the rebuild? Cheers!

They aren't 'knackered' though, they just have plate lift. If you clean the alloy and straighten the plates they'll be as good as new with new screws.

Cheers for the reply. I believe its the seals that are finished - specifically the dust covers?

I have sent them to a place called brake calliper refurbs as recommended by people on Rennlist as seems to have a good rep.

Seals usually outlast the plates by a factor of two or three to one. Do you know whether you have early or late type seals? Later are better as theyre far cheaper.

I have used Classic Car Automotive in Chelford www.classicbrake.co.uk have found them to be quick, reasonably priced and pleasant to deal with. I know they do a lot of Porsche caliper overhauls so this should be pretty straightforward for them.
