Works Cooper S kit..

Have ordered new Cooper S conv and am wondering about the increased performance of Works kit.?
Is it worth having or just expensive add on.?
My last car was Z3 3.0 sport and I want the new mini to have similar acceleration.

I would say it's worth it, but I'm biased I've got a Works S, just upgraded to 210bhp!

There are plenty of cheaper, more powerful conversions available. Just depends how important the warranty is to you.

Am definately gonna upgrade in some shape or form or other, how's it sounding? The demo I tried sounded brilliant, lots of over run...Was thinking of running it in then going for it. Have only got 3 more weeks to wait....

Definitely run it in first. It would be sooooo frustrating not to be able to rev it properly with the John Cooper Kit.

Sounds great, not too intrusive just enough. Supercharger sounds great once the air box opens at 4,500 revs Waaaaaaaaaaaa!. The banging and popping on over-run is most amusing. I believer the John Cooper Website has a sound file you can download.
