Not usually one to post "spotted" threads but this was a good one!
Just saw this today, thought it might interest people. Didnt think they were selling them yet!

I have bought one!!

It comes in March as it's a factory order.

I was really undsure about the Maser thing. I always viewed the Coupe as a hairy-chest medallion-man car. But the look and feel of the Gransport is spot on for me. I rally so get my on-the-limit kicks that way.

To be honest, I am getting bit bored with the Porsche thing (count how many 911's you see driving into Canary Wharf in the mornings!)and OPC unfriendliness, unhelpfullness and general crapness made me move over.

There's only so many times you can go back to the dealer for warranty work on a 12 month-old car!

I just hope that service and support from a lower volume manufacturer will be better.

I'll keep the Cayenne S as I do not think Maserati/Ferrari do one yet.

Graypaul seem like really good people and they have had a lot of good press on PH.

Hope you enjoy the car, I thought this one looked brilliant! It was absolutely filthy so obviously been well used as a demo car!!

Same as you Stuart, but hoping for February. All depends on the spec, so you may be pleasantly surprised!

Apparently it's being built in Feb and my dealer says it will not be with them to be PDI'd before March 10th.

As the spec, I have ordered the following: -
Red Calipers
External Black Grids
19" Trofeo - Grigio
GPS Radio
Rear-View Mirror
Xenon's
Carbon Kick Plates
Passenger foot rest
6 CD Multi-Changer

No change out of £73K!!!!!!

not cheap - but a beautiful beautiful motor car - just been reading Lord Metcalfes comments in the latest evo - I think I'd really really love that car - ok who am I kidding I really really want one now

What colour did you go for stuart? Think it looks amazing in black, and also rather impressed by the red. Seens a very 'royal' blue colour at the weekend at maranello - looked lovely not very maserati (more of an aston colour) but still very nice...

I went for the black with the Anthracite wheels, red calipers and black grilles.

May even go for pimp tints!!

Very broody looking me thinks.

Went for black with standard wheels and bright grille. Interior black with black piping and dark silver (competitzione) cloth, plus burgundy mats from Autostyle to set it off.

Xenons, red calipers, cruise, and heated seats with memory (can't stand having the seat altered and not being able to relocate it)!

Left out the satnav and phone because I don't use them, so including the above the price is under £70k.

Should look something like this (badly altered from blue with Paintshop Pro):

Fond memories of my 3200GT - well looked after at the end of its stint by the boys in EH. Buying yours there?

Yes, Graypaul Edinburgh. They couldn't have been more helpful. No experience of their service, but hopeful!

Nice to hear of them selling a new Maser. The Gransport would certainly appear to be worth buying new to your own spec. As for the regular coupe, the deals on six month old cars seem so good its hardly worth buying new. Whereas a Gransport to keep for a long time....tempting.

i wonder how difficult it would be to upgrade a coupe to gransport type spec, 19in wheels / tyres, new dampers, latest gearbox software, sports exhaust...
