Tony posting on behalf of the globe trotting Di aka Lady T......
Whilst Di is away its been left to me to sort out her new car. I just went out to empty the boot and inside before taking her current car to Dream Machines tomorrow. I honestly started to get a bit emotional. I recalled the excitment of driving the car as well as all the places we've been and the people we've met and friends we've made. We wouldnt have even heard of PH probably, and Di wouldnt have created her alter ego Lady T. All of which have made the last 2 years so much fun. And back to the car, I feel sorry, cos yes we've had niggles but by and large she has performed way beyond our expectations, which is why we get so passionate about all the slagging off that the model receives. This car is more than a car its become a family member, and now I am gutted at the way we have gone on and on about the new one without really praising the one we are losing tomorrow. I really wish we could keep both. Its really hit home and the driveway will be a very empty space without her. If Tuscs and SP6 are that bad could anyone really feel so passionate about them. I have had prob near 100 cars, but along with my Harley this is the 1st time I actually feel regrets at seeing her go.
If anyone out there wants a very loved and looked after Tusc go to Dream Machines but you better look after her.
Tony

STOP! You're making me cry.
This is what all the doom mongers don't understand. The car is special and is part of you. I felt the same when my last E-Type went and I know I will feel the same when the Tusc goes. Which is why I get so angry at all the tossers going on about reliability and bollox. They just don't get it.

Eva Braun was quite passionate about Hitler and he was bad
Wit and charm from a Tus... no sorry a Noble owner in one sentence, Darwin would be proud.

Tony,
You're not the only one mate, I feel for you, as its a great car you're letting go - but onwards and upwards as they say...
When I washed, polished and emptied the S it was one of the most gutting experiences ever - until the day I saw it leave in the hands of another man
Its this strange and undefinable quality which makes them so special, I haven't felt it for any of the other cars as I don't think you will when you say goodbye to your Boxster S.
Hope you enjoy your kebab and beers tonight and they cheer you up a little (until the chili sauce effects tomorrow morning!) - fancy a lift on Sunday?

Thanks

I'm not sure he'd be so proud of the evolution of TVR's engines though, then again, the monkeys that designed and made the speed six could well be the missing link so he may be pleased with that.

Having owned the same marvelous car that you have, only in a much better colour, I would defo neva again buy anything as quick and handle as well as the boring, old fashioned load of shit that you have ever again. I would hopefully not ever have to park next to a really old TVR with my 50k plus wank and watch them ignore my pride and joy for some 15 yr old TIV known as a V8s.

Hey guys look - it's M12_nathan again. Grow up mate or I'll along to the Noble forum to make some stupid irrelevant comments about Noblettes.
Sorry, it is just too easy, no other group responds so well to a bit of old fashioned trolling.
I shall try and refrain.
Oxbow, I know what you are saying about the looks, FWIW I think the T350C is utterly stunning (don't like the Tuscan for some reason), if TVR could get engineers that were as good as their designers they'd be on to something.
As for people paying more attention to an old TVR, maybe we buy cars for different reasons, if you are worried about what people look at rather than how much fun you can have on a race track then Clearly Noble is not the car for you. Horses for courses and all that. What colour did you have? I think matt black is probably the way to go on a Noble but it wasn't an option.
Cheers.
