sprinting tyres

I need a set of b list road legal (semi slick) tyres for my cerbera to go sprinting and would prefer the tyres with the best grip in the dry when cold. The sizes are 225 45 16's front and 245 45 16's rear. Can anyone recommend the best tyre?

Yokohama A032 still seem to be the weapon of choice for nearly everything on the hillclimb scene.

Before getting any tyres worth chceking that your class allows them. Look at the regs. Production classes often restrict you to class 1A but it varies dramatically.
