They want to build 1600houses on Wellesbourne airfield as well and are pushing for planning approval

Please sign the petition, otherwise there will be very little grass roots motorsport left in a few years. I'm primarily a drag racer but love all motorsport and sign any petitions i come across, be it stock car racing, mallory park, motorcross, anything.
This country will end up a concrete jungle, with very few british pastimes left.

Is that the Shakespeare Raceway grounds?

I was there a couple of years ago as I'd made some merchandise for one of the sponsors of the junior drag racers event. Was a nice event, the kids were having a blast and also got to see some of the more grown up outfits have a good blast up the strip. Would be a shame for that to come to an end. I don't know of another place anywhere close enough to be practical for such events.
