Hi has anybody on here used a PTFE like slick 50 gearbox treatment in a 964 G50 box?
Gearbox great when cold but bulking a bit when hot...Might need clutch bleeding or linkiage adjusting not to sure thought i might try a PTFE product as its not to bad ...when its hot feels like a normal 915 box if you know what i mean your always trying to match the gearchange with the revs!!

Give the g/box oil a change. I use Castrol Syntrax in my car and gear selection is excellent, much better than before the change. Clutch drag and also worn engine mounts can affect selection so make sure these areas are also checked. I wouldn't go with additives, there is no need with a good oil.

Only easy DIY if you have a lift. IIRC the box takes 4 liters +/- 0.5 of 75w 90 oil.
