I saw some of these in Decathlon earlier. They don't look comfortable at all, however I'm strangely drawn to give them a go. Has anyone got any experiences to share as far as these things go?

I use eggbeater candy on a couple of my bikes. Got a platform on them and work well enough

I've used them for years. Had knee problems when I tried cheapy spuds but the egg beaters were fine.

I may be talking out of my Harris but I think they allow a bit more movement in the ankle before release.

Right then. I shall give them a go. I'll stick them on one of my sttier bikes to begin with, just in case.

I have some mallet c's and they do my knees in faster than I don't know what, as the cleats have no adjustment unlike shimanos. Because of this I cannot line the cleats up with the direction my feet need.

As a consequence the mallets will be going on flea bay soon.

Run candys and egg beaters, the only thing you need to know is the bearings do need the occasional bit of maintenance otherwise brilliant. Setting the cleats up isn't an issue, I use the tool from Ergon, which means as well setting up other shoes is also hassle free.
