time for new shocks on my 2001 mrk 1 tuscan front and rear was replaced in 2006 done about 10000 miles they where protech noticed slight oil leak on one.Any info or recommendations for new shocks much appreciated

Take a look at my post from today. Gaz shocks is what ive gone for, had Nitrons on my Cerbera, more expensive, and ultimately a better shocker, but I used the Cerbera on Track days so the choice of Nitrons was the reason. The Gaz shocks are probably a good choice (I hope) for general/spirited road use.

I think protech will rebuild them at fairly low cost

They will. Last time i enquired it was 20 pounds per shock. Sounds extremely reasonable to me.
