resize pictures

I was using Pix resizer to reduce picture sizes,a free down load very simple to use and i could resize a folder full of pictures ready for web use in one go. it is now riddled with adds and pop ups malware.What free down load do you recommend for resizing multiple pictures at one go please ?I have been advised that windows paint would be good but this will not do what i want as above.Any help please

Resize.exe in windows was always good. Can email it to you after a pm.

In Ubuntu phatch is good at bulk photo manipulation.

Irfanview's free and very good at several things, one of the being batch processing (including resizing - lots of options for size/ quality etc.)

I use Fastone Image Viewer for simple batch edits.
