Are all rotors the same thickness?

I'm looking for new 160mm 6 bolt rotors. None of the listings I've looked at say anything about rotor thickness, so should I assume all rotors are of a standard thickness, and I only have to worry about the diameter and bolt pattern?

This is for BB7 road calipers. so I just want to make sure MTB rotors aren't thicker or anything!

Lightweight rotors are thinner. My Hope discs, just measured at 1.85mm thick ( they are a bit worn) and my lightweight superstars on another bike are 1.65mm thick.

My Avid Juicy disc is 2mm and brand new, just fitted this morning. So given Justin's post above I'd say yes at 2mm.

Nah, they're all different in my experience - Avid and Formula are the thinnest I've used light but will warp easier than say a Hope.

Aztec make the biggest I've ever used, they're great if you've got cheaper brakes without adjustable bite point and want them sharper - they also look fking sinister IMHO, especially the bigger ones, they're Alpine monsters:

I've got the BR-785 kit to go on my new road bike, using Hope floating rotors- 160 front and 140 rear.

Now obviously the 785 kit is designed to be used with the IceTech finned rotors- but they are centrelock only.

They are thicker than the Hopes as I understand it due to the steel-alloy-steel sandwich (to the OP's original q).

Unless I've missed ISO/6 bolt IceTech rotors, and they are actually available somewhere?

I measured some the other day in an attempt to stop the bloody Avids on Our Lasses bike binding, Avids are 2mm, and I've got some Shimano ones at 1.6mm.

Eventually got the Avid pistons to retract far enough to get new pads in and it's not binding at the minute. Tomorrow might be different though.

Be aware that not all 200mm rotors are actually 200mm.
Some combinations of rotor and caliper will foul each other.

The Freeza fin ice tech rotors are centre lock only, however you can get normal 6 bolt ice tech rotors your looking for product code RT86, and they do make a difference.

Lots of people (including myself) see 200mm which is of course 200mm, and 203mm which is really 8" and think - close enough, but often it's not and if you're like me, you might just start sawing into your calliper.
