My guess, is, probably not.

Code L - speedo is going all over the place since the last part of my journey this morning - both analog and digital speed sensors. Had a similarish problem last year (only affected the analog) and had it fixed under the warranty. Suspect I'll need a some sort of fix/replacement - anyone got any idea of costs.

Thanks

Apparently they're starting to get some senders (apparently thats the problem) in now ish! I think they're quite a lot waiting, including mine!

This is so bazaar. The problem disappeared on the journey home and reappeared at the same point on the M11 (during the roadworks - not particularly heavy traffic). There is definately an underlying problem as the analog is not as smooth as it should be, but for now, speedo seems to be working fine.

Thanks for the responses - do we have any idea of costs?

It's probably the transducer.

As your car is a 2003 and this is a known fault I would insist on it being dealt with under warranty, even if your warranty has expired.

Joolz has the same problem Jo, having achieved 180 mph in his garage, I beleive he had a replacement and that went bezerk too and the last time we caught up he'd been waiting ages for a new one.
