Fella, your picture is a little small so the mask is a bit crude but try this.

I have an adjustment that can make the rims lighter or darker if you want it.

You're missing a trick here.

The wheels on my car are silver but I can easily make them whatever shade of grey I want simply by not cleaning them for a few days.

Actually for a few months usually. It seems not to matter much - nobody ever mentions them.
