Theives on A303

To anyone who uses The A303 on a regular basis.
Thieves are operating out of unmarked zafira mpv's between wincanton and ilminster so take it easy , Saftey cameras my arse

Cheers for that im using the A303 to get down to a karting event at Clay Pigeon next week.

Maybe we should arrange a drive by to show our appreciation for operating such a helpfull scheme

I wouldnt mind if said saftey camera team (what a laughable name) were out side a school during the day , But a dual carrigeway where there is no pedestrians to mow down and no oncoming traffic to hit?
They are just out to get money pure and simple

When it comes to speeding they dont really want you to slow down as they will loose some income , the police seem to be more of a money making business these days than a service to the public

The two zafiras ive seen are a cgolden coloured metallic and dark blue so if you see one by the road with the boot up dont forget to flick it the bird

Agree totally, saw a similar set up the other weekend on the DC into Weston (so the joy of the fixed camera being dismantled was short lived)

cheers for that, ill be using the A303 next weekend and the weekend after. Its usually not too bad for speeding in my experience - never seen any coppers between winterbourne Stoke and the M3, although theres a camera about 10 miles south of Winterbourne Stoke...
