I have Plug Surfing on my phone.

Any others people recommend to locate charge points etc?

I drove from London to Oxford yesterday and when charging in Oxford, used the Polar Instant app. It lets you top up online and use the chargemaster charging post without an RFID card, through your mobile. The app also lets you check all the nearby chargemaster posts, and whether or not they are in use.

"Charge your car" is excellent for charge point control without an RFID, and provides well laid out summaries of charging activity. Of course it's only good if your region is covered - check it out.
