Right honest question I have a modified austin mini only a 998 is it best I make my own way down? As limited to circa 65 - 70 ish on the motorway as tends to want to explode otherwise...

Greggy50, it will depend which route we go & whether we use the boring Mway briefly? What ever A road we go, we will always wait for the last car at every junction. We would be meeting close to the NEC

I am okay for a stint on the mway just as long as people don't go too fast...

I have been on a run before in a Clio 172 in another region and had to trash the st out of my Clio 172 at the time just to keep up!

Near the NEC is good for me though as I live in Walsall and it's on the way anyway

What's your route plan, Chris? You say as little m-way as possible, are you looking to go down the middle-England route via Redditch, Stratford & Banbury, or are you going to peel off to the easy of the M40 via Warwick, etc?

You can see where this is going can't you ;-) If you're heading East, I'll put up a Redditch Convoy thread.

Hi 356speedster, either of 2 routes with the one picking up the back route down from J15 M40/A46 used before & the other tracking north of the M40 down to Banbury.

Sorry I could not make this went out for a friends birthday Saturday night for a few at the pub and removed myself from the list 1/2 way through as may have been over the DD limit in the morning and could not afford to risk it!
