Been looked at and discussed here. Depending on what part of the chassis need attention, it could be a bargain to someone with some DIY skills.

Could be.

Speak to Jason at Str8six for an honest appraisal before anything else though.

Its a different car - if this is the link your talking about ?

http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/tvr-...

Thats a standard 4.0 in salisbury, the one i posted about is an S in teeside (which im buying lol) but still a good price even needing some work..

One or 2 concerns such as being on gumtree (free to advertise) and not really owned the car for long, possibly unable to afford to run/fix it? but compare it to the Tuscan in my thread, its an S - only a little more milage really and im having 2.5k spent on her to make sure she good to go. And a big chunk of that is 12k service.. and the S was still £500 cheaper ! But then you could buy a 30k Tuscan and it be a money pit, you just cant say..

I am jealous of that interior though, might have to start saving !! hehe

In my humble opinion there is no such beast as a cheap Tuscan, you either pay up front or in tears at a later date.

It may just be wishful thinking but...
With a report from Str8six saying that it only needs £3K spending then wouldn't it be worth a look at? I've e-mailled the seller asking for more details, including a copy of the Str8six list to see what needs doing.

On my humble V8S I don't use places like Str8six, but I guess that a few of you do as it seems like the right place to look after such a specialist machine as a Tuscan.

I've heard tales of getting a list of 'optional' jobs with your annual service at main dealers such as Str8six. So the question for anyone who has experienced this is could the list be taken as a good inspection report, similar to what you would pay someone to look over the car for you before purchase?

If so then for an additional £3K then would you have a fully sorted Tuscan?
