Strewth, Kia clearly have visions of continuing onto a level playing field with the big European / Japanese manufacturers. And why not?

So, just to clarify, over the course of this weekend on this website, we have had 3 new teams/owners:

1) Audi
2) Kia buying Marussia
3) Some American wanna be gangster cashing in on the BRM name

But no information about any of the above on any mainstream F1 site.

Well 3 is clearly a pee take of one or both of the other two. Kia is a story that at least makes some sense, but might also bee a piss take. And the Audi story is quite far fetched.

The most likely thing I read is it might be renault employees saying anything they can to stop fans talking about how poo the renault engine may or may not be online. Even that's a bit far fetched.

So I'm going for alcohol consumption and being "funny".

First time I've seen Kia mentioned but have seen a number of stories about Hyundai wanting to become an engine manufacturer. That was ages ago now though. I buy into the prestige by association line. Perhaps the same deal with Audi. If so we will no doubt see more such stories as Australia approaches.
