Some girl asked me what my bike was called when I was chaining it up yesterday ( the bike not the girl ). I didn't have a clue. What would you name your bike?

Our Lass's bike (an honorary term for one of my bikes, bought under the premise that it was for the wife).

The fixed gear bike.

The trials bike.

The Vitus. The only one known by it's name.

My Colnago EP is called Luigi, my vintage Colnago is Franco, my Bianchi is Bianca, Eddy Merckx track bike is Eddy and the Boardman comp is Chris. The Skyway TA is called Stu, skyway Streetbeat is Kermit, the Hoffman Condor is Matt and the Hoffman Bigdaddy is Kevin.

My girlfriend named my pro carbon "cardboard". Kinda works as it has cboardman written down the side and a running joke about it being made of "cardboard fibre"

She's trying to get a name to stick on my cx but its not working....

My new summer bike is, as yet, nameless.

Suggestions for naming a BMC Roadracer anyone? I like alliterative names. So I'm thinking Ronald the roadracer...

I called it a few things Saturday, none of which would make it past the swear filter unscathed.

Humanising possessions is a bit odd IMO.

I use the names the manufacturers use: Dale (it's a Cannondale) and Eddy (it's a Yo Eddy). However, I usually just say the road bike or the mountain bike <shrug>
