Thought I was seeing things. Hannu Mikola, Malcolm Wilson and Stig Blomquist driving up to the Don Valley stadium in Sheffield this afternoon.

This event deserves to succeed.....returning to real rallying, instead of the silly sprint that replaced it, is a breath of fresh air.

But why no publicity?

I posted it up on General Motorsport.....no response.

My friend is repairing Hannu Mikolas old S1 Quattro Grp b car, after it was bumped in the Barbados rally.

They are apparantly trying to get this event to take place every year.

Its also the same weekend as the original rally used to be held.

I was cold watching this. Mountainbiked there in the dark, got wet, but was worth it.
