Want a new bike - which shops should I try?

I'm sure there are loads of good bike shops with good deals available. I know of a few, but does anyone know of some good others?

I know CRC, Paul's Cycles, Wiggle, Evans... What else is there?

I'm looking to pick up a nice bargain road bike!

Cycle world and Solent cycles are worth seeking out. Wiltshire isn't too far out. Solent cycles are a small affair with places in Fareham and close by in Hampshire. They have some very knowledgeable staff who actually race and know a thing or two .

I tend to go to the shops that sell the bike I want! I don't mean to be rude, but it seems obvious to me.

My first road bike was a giant, so I didn't go to my local specialised concept store!

True, but if you're more flexible, like I am, you can shop around.

I am just looking for a good road bike - that's about it.

The CAAD10 they have at Bicycle Richmond is a bargain. I keep having to stop myself buying it.

Also try Tredz, Triton, Tweeks, Merlin, Edinburgh Bicycle CoOp, Rutland...

How far are you willing to travel? Corley Cycles in MK is quite a nice place as far as I can tell!

Also Chaineys in mk (run by great guys with lots of knowledge and experience), or pinks (bit pricier).
