Some time ago at a pub club meet, there was this Elise.

Picture doesn't do the colour justice but I want to know what colour it is as it's not on Lotus colour chart?

Thanks

Bondy

Last time I went to the Motor Show there was an Elise in Chili Red which Mrs HJ was particularly taken with. That was pretty much orange to my eyes, and a quick Google shows a few cars listed as that colour which are similar to the one pictured above.

In the pic it looks orange but in person it is a kind of red. So maybe that's it.

Want to know this exact colour so I can get the code. Thinking of wrapping the Noble that colour.

Apparently chilli red looks orange in the sun so maybe this is the colour.

Still not seen a chilli red in person but from seeing the pics I'm not sure it's made enough for the Noble.

Is there anyone with a burnt orange lotus in the bognor area.

Ruled out chrome orange so I'm left with chilli red, burnt orange and my current favourite. Chameleon Orange

Hi all - sorry I didn't see this thread earlier, thanks to Doorman for letting me know. I've had the car re-sprayed but it's the original colour as Lotus intended. The colour is called Lava Orange Pearl, and the code is B84.
Hope that helps!

I'm in Waterlooville, although a drive out towards you would be a nice excuse for a blast! More than welcome to hook up so you can have a closer look. From recollection it took something like 5 passes to get the pearl right, and was about 13 ltrs in total. The colour was discontinued by Lotus around 2003/2004 ish I think in favour of Chrome Orange which was more popular. I toyed with the idea of changing to Chrome Orange but stuck with the original, and now it's on the car I'm glad I did.

That would be very nice if u did. But even better is that I play golf at waterlooville on a Saturday so could catch up after around 4pm for a look.

Cheers
