What Mascot is this ?

Hi Guys, any idea what car this is from please ?
It has the reg number stamped on the reverse which I assume would be the original car it was fitted to, I have left at work but basically its three numbers followed by three numbers for example 123 456 if that gives an indication of age maybe.

No idea, but I'd guess it's from the '20s as it looks Art Deco to me.

Bonnet mascots were often retrofitted, not from one type of car. The one you have probably is one of these. The number is the casting number I expect, rather than the reg number.

Very hard. Back in the day rich car owners (well, there were no other type) would do their own thing, so its very difficult unless you know the damily it came from

My guess would be someone took from a car they scrapped but stamped on the reg number just for keepsake maybe.

Hi Guys, the actual stamp on the rear of her skirt is REGD No 803 677

Maybe your right it could be the patent number rather than a vehicle registration number ?

IMHO it's an aftermarket accessory from the late 20s / early 30s.
The style of this one is definitely Art Deco and vaguely "Pierrot", which was a popular image of the time.
Lots of motor accessory companies in the UK (e.g. Desmo) and Europe produced these mascots (usually from low grade metal).
