Where's Wally?

Hi Guys

At the end of March I am doing a Where's Wally fancy dress cycle ride (don’t ask!), I need to find a red and white striped jersey, a load of the guys are going to year the actual fancy dress costume but I don’t fancy sweating my gonads off if I can get a jersey. I am really struggling to find one, has anyone seen any for sale anywhere? Can you point me in the right direction?

Find a knitting pattern and someone who can knit? you could use a dennis the menace pattern and substitute black for white? £5 for the wool and you're sorted.

i dont really want to wear wool! lol. i was hoping for a lycra cycling jersey.

yeah i found that one, via a quick googling. as you say hoops a bit small. i may have to just get a red and white t shirt. :S

Buy red cycling jersey.

Buy 1m of white cloth

Cut white cloth into strips

Stick on with spray-on glue in a hoop pattern.

Profit.

Wool isn't actually as mad as it may seem. It was the traditional jersey material prior to the advent of lycra and posh wool is still used in a lot of high end kit. Breathable, insulating and wicking - it has a lot going for it!
