3200 gt gearbox

2 weeks into ownership and I still Love the the car !!!
5 mins to fuill her up and 10 mins talking to people who ask if she is an Aston Martin !!!

Downside though is the awful gearbox in my humble opinion !
dont like the the 1st and reverse and the the fact that when she is cold she wont even consider 2nd.

But never mind I still love her and the roads dont do the 3200 gt justice here in the uk .

would I swap her ???? No way !

Your gearbox sounds pretty dodgy mate! Worth getting it checked out I think.

I've never had a problem selecting any gear - cold box or otherwise. (Yes it's 'heavy' when cold - but no more so than on an M5 (it's the same gearbox apparrently)...

Glad you're loving the car - and you're right - Europe is the right place to be for driving a Masser! - It's that or get up early to go for a drive

I agree with Mr Tony - no problems either. As a thought, do you know when the clutch was last replaced?

I'll third that! Apart from needing a bit of coaxing into reverse when stone cold, my gearbox is sweet!
