Evans 'Ride It'

Anyone done one of these?

I've done a Wiggle Sportive last year, these Evans ones sound pretty much exactly the same.. High5 feed stations etc.

Same here - feed stations for about every hour or so of riding - 1 on the medium, 2 on the long. Well organised events. Probably do Reading this year as the other 2 I wanted to do (Liphook and Dorking) clash with other dates

Did a Sussex one a couple of years ago and it was diabolical! Badly organised, badly signed and not very well supported, however I believe Evans use a different company to organise the events now and they are much better.

I have taken part in a few Wiggle events and always find them really well organised and supported.

Did the Watlington road one last year and was fine. Got a massage afterwards too..... ( keep it clean !!)

I did the Gatwick one last year and the Brighton one 2 years running and have enjoyed all of them. Not done any MTB so can only comment on the sportives. All well signposted and supported from my point of view. Club mates did the King of the Downs last year and had a great time too.

As far as I'm aware Evans staff and run their own events.

Done 3 last year on the mtb, great rides with some great food, don't think i'd pay for a road sportive again though as it's easy enough to get a good route most places, but MTB is a bit different to find the good trails somewhere you don't know.
