Finally got round to emptying the tank

This is the fuel that was in the hose from the bottom of tank! ( looks like two layers of fluids)


Next stage is to drop the tank but never having done this before do I need to completely remove the exhaust or just drop it off its hangers at the back and middle of the car?

Bending it that far down could well damage something? I'd take it right off out of the way for the sake of a couple more bolts.


While exhaust is off would be a good time to check prop shaft uj's and grease (if yours have grease nipples)
