Recommend me a decent restaurant in Stoke/Staffs

Looking at going out for dinner tonight in the area and being from South of Birmingham i have no previous experience of dining out in the area. A nice Italian is what I'm after.

I know it's late but pasta da piazza in stone was nice the last time I went

Pasta da Piazza, The Olives or Cullen's all in Stone are nice. Another option is The Orange Tree on the A34 in Trent Vale/Newcastle.

As above, too late, but if you don't mind a little drive, The Olive Tree in Cheadle is great for some tapas. Only a little place but lovely food. Worth booking ahead though.

Hecter Garcia in Newcastle is great for mexican/tapas too.

Stone got a few nice restaurants actually.
