Looking at the classified adds is it me or are the prices going through the roof for low mileage/ good quality cars?
Where do the dealers find them, I am shocked at the low mileage cars coming out of the woodwork at the moment, surely the owners would get more to sell them privately, I bought mine private?
Considering they cost 55k new (correct me if I am wrong as I never had the chance to buy one new)the black S with 9k miles on it represents a loss of 23k just to have it in the garage, I wonder if it was bought as an investment?
Surely it would have made more sense to sit on it for a few more years and make a killing if the prices carry on as they are.
Have to say though the black one is a stunner, and the Fenhurst convertible is a cracker.

I think it is not just Tuscans, all TVR's seem to be on the rise look at the Griff's. I have never seen so many on the market at one time and the prices are very strong.

It is simply down to supply and demand, and remember inflation will play a part, £35,000 today was the equivalent of £27,600 in 2005

TVRs have been undervalued for years. I could only speculate as to why this has been the case but to me they have always been a dead cert to appreciate.

I bought my Tamora for £16k last October (I thought it was a steal for what it is!)- but I am spending the same again (and then some) on bringing it up to spec. I don't think I'd get £32k for it, though....

I know - but initially, I was going to by a GD Cobra kit with LS3 engine, but I worked out the costs and the sorted Tam would still work out a lot cheaper - and I much prefer the TVR anyway.

The bulk of the money will go on a complete interior re-trim with new roof and rear screen, and the TVR Power 4.3 upgrade (have just ordered a set of Nitrons). After this (late next year perhaps..), a CR box and Quaife LSD. Still £15k cheaper than what I worked out what the Cobra would cost over three years.

Of course, I should be spending my money on our house renovation.....hehe

As long as I'm working, I will never sell my Tamora, I am making sure it's as perfect as possible for me. I sold my first Tam and bitterly regretted it, not going through that again.

It is nice to know though, that values are very stable, perhaps even going up.

Still regard the Tuscan as the most 'out there' design. I almost fell for one again just on looks alone....
