Need some advice

Listening to Rave Tapes and thoroughly enjoying it, nice mix of keyboard, atmospherics and guitars.

I want to explore their extensive back catalogue - where best to go next considering I don't like overly thrashy guitars and prefer music with at least semblance of tune/melody?

thanks

Second that plus also try Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will (2011). Bit of a recent convert after the Radio 6 coverage they always get has finally worked but can't get enough at the moment.

Off to see them tonight at the Royal Festival Hall, should be good.

I've not heard everything from them, but my favourite release that I have listened to is probably Mr Beast.

Personally I'd suggest their debut...young team...

Huge Mogwai fan. They're currently on tour.

If you've heard Rave Tapes, check out Young Team, Mr Beast, Come On Die Young and Rock Action!

They have around 20 albums, so lots to get through.

Working through them now and cannot believe I've not got into them before, awesome band.

They were also utterly brilliant live last night and wall of sound does not adequately convey the live experience, ears are properly ringing still and I've not had that from a gig for years.

New album is good!

I’ve seen them live twice, last time round they played My Father My King, a 30 minute version. Absolutely incredible.

I love that "I'm the king of the swingers" song they did.
