I'm planning a road trip back to my home in Prague in June.
Will take the ferry from Portsmouth to Bilbao..
usually I travel via the tunnel then thru Germany into Prague.

This is the route I have planned via Google maps.
I'm looking for stunning roads and scenery and planning around 5 days to get back to Prague.

Thanks for any advice, Cheers Mark thumbup

Cracking smile
Could possibly divert at Milan to go via Modena, Ferrari, Lamborghini etc smile
Then onto Austria via the Brenner

Buddy your route north and French side of the Pyrenees. Why motorway? are you in a major rush?

Depending on Ferry arrival

From Bilbao, take A1 towards Pamplona, then head A21 for a first night in Jaca (if you can still follow the old lake road more the better), then N260 from Jaca all the way to Puigcerda, then N116 to Perpignan.

Enjoy the Pyrenees in style .... beautiful roads and heart stopping scenary. I'd take 2.5 days to get to Perpignan from Bilbao and enjoy the sights. If you want cheaper accomation, pop over the border back to Spain for the night at Perpignan.

cool

No probs, if I could do that Google map thingy I'd have done that ... Lucky man, enjoy, you'll love it, it's beautiful. smile

EDIT Just realised your doing it on a bike.

Well ..... ahem

After Jaca, east on the A23 for about 8 miles (if mem serves), then head north to Biescas on the N260A, following N260A which is better than the beginning of the N260, until where where they connect.
Follow the N260 east to a small place called Ribagorca, then take the N230 north to Vielha. Stay the night.

From Vielha take the C28 ........ You just have to do this road to Sort, stop for coffee. Then onto the N260 to Puigcerda, then N116 on to Perpignan. Stop where you wish.

I've done it on a motorbike ..... I have done lots more roads if you had more days.

Did I say lucky ..... on a bike, mucho lucky smile
