Indie in East London for 993 service....

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a decent indie to look after me and my 993 C4 in East London please? The nearest I can find are both in Fairlop - Design 911 and HP Motorsports - anyone have experience of them? And are they linked in some way as they seem to be neighbours on the same street?!

HP motorsport are behind design 911 , not the same company
Mine went to HP when I couldnt get it in at my normal place in kent , seemed ok to me

Mario149 takes his 993 to Prestige autocare, Paul Coster who looks after loads of PH members Ferrari's, Lambos, Masers, Porsches.
Search prestigeautocare on FB. Always got exotics in. Looks after all my cars and the service is second to none and an added bonus very reasonably priced too

I use HP for my 964/944 and Joe is very experienced on Porsches especially the aircooled cars. I recommend them highly. He does what is necessary and wont rip you off. Dont expect OPC level of shine though....its an old school garage style set up. I think they used to do a lot of the labour work for Design 911 but they recently have set up there own network of servicing centres so I am not sure that relationship still exists.

I used HP Motorsports for about 6 years with my 964 before moving abroad. As others have said, Joe knows his aircooled cars and won't over charge you! If I ever move back to the UK I'd have no hesitation in using them again.

550 is going to him next week for a few bits He'd have had the 993 again as well if he hadn't been slacking on holiday for so long

It's funny 'cause you look at the website service menu and you would have no idea about the cars he deals with on a day to day basis

Another recommendation for Phil and Joe @ HP - they have worked on my Cayman S since day 1 and wouldn't take it to anywhere else!

Took my 993 to HP on the many recommendations from here. Very pleased with the work, and so I'm happy to add to those recommendations. Thanks for the advice guys.
