just had a great day out on the fish & chip run....20 plus TVR's roaring around the countryside on the way to the seaside......nothing better. (except the obvious, of course!!)
anyhow, first time since owning my V8S that i've had to use the windscreen washer..... well, it looked like someone was doing a very weak pee on the bottom of my windscreen!!
So, my question is, can anyone recommend either the OEM or an uprated washer motor that will do the job please? Not had cjance to look at it since i returned. Priority for tomorrow is to clean all the muck off it from this mornings run!! i knew there would be a down side to cleaning up the engine bay/chassis so well.... have now got to keep it like that!!

Quite a few here have gone with wiper arm jets as an alternative to the fixed jets. My pumps fine - its just the jets that are in the centre screen that don't really help??? I think.
Perhaps a headlamp washer pump would do it for you and the car behind?

ya right about the central positioning of the jet being very limiting.
i like the sound of fitting jets along the wiper arms (basically a piece of tubing, clipped to the arms, with strategically drilled holes along its length)... but still need a decent pump. Maybe headlamp washer pump of a modern car will do it.
will locate and take off the original to see what is fitted.
by the way steve...... nice seats!!! abit yellow.... but ay...if we all liked lemon seats it would be a sad world!lol don't forget to check out the stratford car festival rally, it is on the first may bank holiday weekend sun 4th & mon 5th may. £25 for both days per car. Travelodge costs about £45 per night or i believe their is a campsite around, glenrobbo knows about it i think.

Been thinking about the same for a while, though mine do squirt fine, and was wondering if something like the ones fitted to a Jeep Cherokee or Nissan Note would work as they spray a sort of arc/mist of fluid covering the most of the screen. No idea how or indeed if they could be fitted mind.
IIRC Original Bottle and Pump is Fiesta MK2, and unlikely to be available any more.
That said, its only a pump, i.e. a 12v electric motor, so pretty much any unit from any car will do the same job, all you have to do is find one that will fit in the original position.
I find that due to the heavy duty requirements, pumps from Land Rovers are much stronger, even on older models, so a simple trip to the breakers and 5 - 10 quid should see you sorted.

Fits direct to reservoir with a large inlet connection, unlike "Landie" pump which has small in and out
