Just seen some info on this, looks like it could be pretty good. Nce weekend of bikey stuff at Harewood, with the peloton coming through the grounds on the way out of Leeds

You won't be short of things to do - Otley CC will be putting on a bunch of things for people to do, and I suspect all the local clubs will be doing the same. Certainly, we'll be offering guided rides to some good spots to watch. Details will be here:

Otley will be nuts, as anyone who comes to the town centre races will know. If you want atmosphere, you could do worse that watch them come through Otley, have a few beers and soak up the atmosphere, then ride up through Beckwithshaw to Harrogate for the finish.

Good stuff.

Velofest looks another good option. Nice and close to the route, cheaper than the others too.

Will have to make a decision. Need something that will be child friendly, with lots to do...

In terms of scenery, Velofest has the setting. However, there may be other events I don't know about.

Check out Kilnsey on streetview - it's a lovely part of the world. I only moved up here a year ago, but feel very lucky to be able to spin up there and back before the kids are out of bed on the weekend.

Addingham is good for the Bolton Abbey estate, which is very family friendly. Ilkley is on your doorstep too, which provides plenty to do.

Yeah, I'm pretty familiar with the area, lived in Barwick in Elmet for a few years. Spent most of my spare time ragging my R1 & GSX-R round the fantastic roads

Never did any road cycling there though...

Certainly nice to have a few good options.

I'm camping at Harewood House for the weekend so should see the grand depart. They're also organising rides out to viewing points on both days too.
