Rally For Heroe's 2014

This is a Road Rally round Europe raising funds in 2014 for Soldiers, Sailors and Airmens Families Association.

I have copied below a brief description of what its all about. I personally missed out on a place this year as The Rally was over subscribed but have been asked to participate in my 280 in 2016. I am determined to do my bit and so far have managed to raise nearly £200 in raffle ticket sales. There are some FANTASTIC PRIZES and details of these can be found in the link on my Virgin Money Page.
Please read the description below and hopefully then visit my Just Giving Page and hopefully buy a ticket or two. Two founding members of This Event have this year been recognized in The New Years Honours List for their efforts for Charity Fundraising.
Rally for Heroes is a dedicated event raising money for Forces Charities and to date have managed to raise over £155,000. In 2014 the team will once again be hitting the roads and driving a minimum of 5 miles for every British Service Personnel that has given their lives in Afghanistan since 2001, this will be completed in only 8 days travelling through 11 countries and avoiding motorways wherever possible.....it is a challenge both mentally and physically as the participants in 2012 can vouch to. The 2014 event will be in aid of SSAFA, The Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association, the national charity for those who serve in our Armed Forces, those who used to serve, and their families. SSAFA is committed to providing a lifetime of support to anyone who has ever served. Please help Rally for Heroes to help SSAFA give something back to these people that help to keep us safe. Thank you to everyone who donates, every penny really does make a difference.
