Serial E-type Owner
Discussion
Looking back through my files found a few pictures of the E-types I've owned over the years.
Sad to think I owned my first one when I was 25 but with prices as they are now I'm struggling to hold onto one. If I don't manage to keep my current fhc when it's finished restoration I doubt I'll be able to afford another. Crazy really.

Very nice
I like the gunmetal grey one.
I have just entered the world of E types. I've got a series 1.5. It's currently in bits all over my garage floor.
My fhc is a series 1.5. should be finished in the next two weeks - hoping for some dry weather. Good luck with your restoration.I like the gunmetal grey one.

Damn..you could retire if you had kept the last one...outside bonnet lock!
I am retired (sort of).I only sold the outside bonnet lock car quite recently, it was always going to be an investment car.
Aside from basic fact that I couldn't afford to keep it, I like to drive my classics and I couldn't see me being relaxed about using such a valuable car on rallies and so on.
Also I prefer my cars with a few mods and those early cars really need to be left absolutely standard.
