Heads up: It's Lidl's "Winter Car Essentials" week again, starting today Thursday 16th January.

Includes a 1kg fire extinguisher (every S should have one), first aid kit (ditto), HiViz vest, car boot "organiser" (the right size, shape and colour to fit on the ledge above the tank in an S), car cover, battery charger, infrared temperature probe, etc,.

Some really surprising prices - not sure about the name of the fire extinguisher though....

I was cynical about the offers from Lidl and Aldi until I tried some, I have to admit that they have proved value for money. If that boot organiser is the right size I will be after one, thanks for posting!

Hmm - boot organiser might be a good idea.

It's the same size the one they sold a few years ago ("Long model" H26 x W50 x D16). It was a good colour match for the boot carpet and fitted the space well. I've still got the bag, but not the S. frown

I bought the Temperature gun ("my" old one was retained by my ex-boss when I retired) and the cordless lamp earlier this morning. Both work well and seem pretty good VFM.
