I passed a red one in Oxfordshire in the summer. They look totally alien on the road. So menacing.

The more I look at it the morte the design grows on me.

Romans have one for sale for £595,000. Not too bad when you think of the price of a Maclaren F1

Chris Meek of Mallory Park fame owned one. Saw him earlier this year with it.

I've sat in one (in the driver's seat). Only problem is that I couldn't shut the door without losing my head The sound of the exhaust is deafening, especially in an enclosed space, like a garage

William Loughran's has one for £595,000 too, market value or the same car being passed to a different dealer to sell?

I've seen two - one filling up in front of me at the Shell garage in Epping, and the other parked on Wapping High Street a few months ago - turned out it was Rod Stewart popping out for a Chinese!

Yes it was. It had all the Gumball stickers on it and had a caravan attached to the back of it.

Why did it withdraw?

Not sure. There was a yellow Enzo as well which had some 'tecnical difficulties' after managing to overtake Rob Kenworthy's GT2 (apparently the only car to do that on a gumball) at over 200 mph.

I dont think they stand up to abuse the same way as the porkers seem to

Lonman is often outspoken that Ferraris are not the right car to do the Gumball.

I don't think many gumballers could catch Lonman, Enzo or not!! He definitely drives it like he stole it as it were!

I think he has a point mate. Porsches dont really do a lot for me (Carrera GT included) but for doing a lot of hard driving without going wrong they are in a class of their own.

I think Lonman said in 2 Gumball's, a Players Run and a Cannonball his car has only had 1 routine service.

The GT2's at VMAX were in a class of their own as well (perhaps with the exception of Phatgixers SL65 AMG which was just plain mad).

I would still rather a Ferrari or Lambo though

Might be the same car cos Rod lives round Epping way don't he?...saying that though, a young Greek Cyp chap has a red one around Epping way too!, 2 ENZO's in the same area, imagine buying one and finding that out whilst you're on your Sunday morning cruise!!!
