Magnecor ht leads

Hi guys
Looking to buy a set of magnecor ht leads for my S 3C as I'm going to do a full service on her this month
Where the best place at a good price

Cant' recommend anywhere but I was toying with going Magnecor although in the end bought "normal" aftermarket OEM leads from my local auto-factors and the improvement is tangible. I concluded that as these engines aren't mega sophisticated and wondered what difference the magnecor would have over OEM for the high cost - I got new dizzy cap, rotor arm and leads for about £40. Much smoother pick up and more willing (but that latter bit mught be me romancing or the nice cold weather helping).

I have red magnecor leads - fitted to the car when I bought it. I have no idea how old they are !

What's the recommended life of ignition leads ?

Personally I'd save my money and go for something like Bosch HT leads

Presumably those with posh expensive HT leads would perform better at Magny-Cours ?

I have a set of Magnecor leads on the Beast. She ran a bit smoother and seemed more willing following fitting.

They did replace a set of 12-year old leads though.

Do look nice as well. Personally, they seem a bit expensive (for the TVRs) when compared to sets for other cars. Not sure why as the ends aren't special and they are made to order (well mine were and sent direct from the factory).

I may have a couple of sets to make up, so may look at buying the crimping tools and the fittings and just make the ones I need.

Fitted a set of KV85 (8.5mm) Jan 2013, after going direct to Magnecor, their service was excellent and took approx 7-10 days, even had a personalised note from the lead creator!

I use my car weekly, if not daily all through the year and he has not missed a beat, go on treat the old beast....

Guys, I can supply Magnecore leads if any of you want them.
My company has been a distributor for them for 10 yrs +. They are well made, give great results and do not deteriorate, even with V8 heat soak !
Let me know if you want any sets as they are made to order. lead time is about 1 week
