Anyone tried cable to hydro adapters?

I've been looking at the various cable to hydro adapters and having issues finding reviews or user experience.

Very tempted by something like the doppelmoppel or the HY/RD setups, if anyone has experience using them I'd love to hear it.

A friend of mine has the TRP one on her cyclocross bike, she likes them a great deal, other than that I've seen a few of the Hope ones but don't have any experience of them.

I hadn't seen the hope v-twin, it looks like a front runner based on the reviews without the lever pull issues that appear to affect the hy/rd

I've been trying to decide between these two set-ups but I'm really stuck with it.

A guy I know runs the TRP Hy/Rd's and thinks they're great. They look to be really good and from what I've seen they have very good feel to them.

The Hope V-Twin looks like a neat solution to the problem, I also run Hope X2 brakes on my 2 MTB's so having the V-Twins which run the X2 callipers would save me from having to buy different types of pads and spares for different bikes.
I must say, I'm a big fan of the Hope kit so I'm leaning a bit towards them.

The only thing that stopped me ordering the TRPs was several reviews mentioning issues with lever pull (right back to the bars with minimal resistance) which does sound offputting.
If you order the hopes some feedback would be good! :-)

Hopefully I'll be ordering some soon, I've got a couple if hits I need to get rid of first to pay for the Hopes. Once they're fitted I'll report back

Nothing wrong with the TRP's with Ultegra levers. I have tried a friends with decent compressionless Goodridge outer cable and it was excellent

Running HY-RDs with Ultegra 6800 levers, and all is well. They don't half stop, and modulation is fine.
